How to Speed Up the Production of Your Custom Stamp: 3 Things Our Designers Need

Even if you don’t have a ready design — don’t worry. We can still create one for you based on your idea. However, if you want to speed up the process and get your stamp produced faster, providing a few key details from the start will help us move things along more efficiently.

Here’s what you need to know to get your stamp designed, approved, and shipped as quickly as possible.

1. Send a High-Quality Image File

We can’t emphasize this enough: a clean, high-resolution source image will save you days of back-and-forth.

Too often, we receive screenshots or pixelated photos where the design is barely recognizable. Our designers then have to spend time redrawing it, which leads to:

  • Delays in approval

  • Dozens of revision rounds

  • Miscommunication over missing or unclear details

What to send:

  • Vector files (.AI, .SVG, .EPS, .PDF) — ideal

  • High-resolution .PNG or .JPG — minimum 1000px wide

  • Black-and-white or solid-color preferred

2. Be Specific with Your Design Request

While we help adapt your artwork for stamping, we don’t create designs from scratch. Requests like "a dog flying near a tree, possibly a pitbull or maybe a dachshund, at night, with a Gothic calligraphy-style text underneath" sound creative — but are not something we can build without a clear reference.

To speed things up, please send:

  • A specific visual or sketch (even a photo reference is helpful)

  • The exact text, if any, with preferred font style

  • The final layout or structure you envision

3. Include the Correct Size and Material Info

Another common mistake: sending a tiny 3mm image if you want a 3mm stamp. We need the source image large and clear, so we can resize it ourselves without losing quality.

Also, let us know:

  • What material you’ll stamp (leather, wood, clay, etc.)

  • Final stamp size in millimeters or inches

These two details are crucial because different materials require different engraving depth and line thickness. If we don’t know, we’ll have to clarify — and that slows things down.
